My turtle is 25 years old. I've had him since I was around 5. He was just a tiny hatchling then, kind of like me. His name is Theodore, Teddy for short.

He's a typical RES, who likes to bask under his heat lamp, and swim around his enclosure. He enjoys lettuce, pellets and the occasional veggie. Sometimes when I put my finger up to the glass, he flutters his front flippers over his face. He's a bit of a flirt.

He's in a glass aquarium. I'm actually looking to upgrade to a bigger size, maybe to an 80 gallon. Just need to figure out where to put something of that size. He's around 6 inches or so.

I love it that you've had Teddy for 25 years. You've grown up together. You must have a very special bond indeed.
