thanks! I haven't had the chance to look today because I've been at work literally all day (9am-11pm), but from the short search I did last night, I thought it was a peninsula.
The colors on his shell are gorgeous! I hope mine gets that. Maybe she will when she actually starts eating her veggies.

No, I meant that I WANTED him to be an RES. Mostly because since before I got him, all I've done is research RES's (as in I read almost all the pages on this website) and I was fully prepared to take care of one.
Basically, I thought all my research and hard work went to waste because the care would be completely different. But it's not, so I'm okay now.
