I have caught Toku doing this before but today was different in that he is sleeping like a log! I walked in and saw him on the bottom with sand covering his shell and a algae eater on his shell just sitting there, lol. So I grabbed my phone and took a couple pics. The algae eater moved after the first pic. He stayed asleep lol! Sorry crappy phone pics.





He partied too hard last night!!!! Lol

Must be pooped! Does he usually sleep in the same spot?

Mine never sleeps on the bottom. I try to make sure he has somthing to rest on like his favorite tree or a flat rock just underneath the water so he can raise up his head when he wants some air.

I am thinking about making a bed / underwater dock of sorts for him to get on made out of PVC pipe and that plastic thing with holds that you can hit with a knife and it breaks apart easily. I forget what it's called. (obvioulsy..lol)

Yeah Steve, he has a small trench he made a bed! He has a sleeping branch to rest on but chooses the bottom during the day. His choice;)

I've only seen Flippy sleeping once, when she was a tiny baby, but it was so cute! And every time I see her yawn, I squeal like a little kid because it's so adorable.
