Tiger Barbs Mating!

My 2 tiger barbs that live with my turtles seem to be mating. I never had any fish that survived my turtles long enough to do this. So excited! Hope to see baby tiger barbs soon. Sorry not turtle related but Im so excited I needed to share

Are you sure they are mating and not mock fighting?

If you have a few males they will challenge each other for dominance of the group. They will flare their fins and circle/chase each other really fast. It happens a couple of times a month, grab some popcorn and watch the show!
