Posted: Sat Nov 03, 2012 11:43 pmI just got this baby, and it looked different than the whole bunch because of the red edges of the shell, and the big yellow dot on it's head. So what is it exactly? (I know its a turtle, lol) as in ybs/res intergrades, or just res, or??? Bottom of shell is 100% yellow with a slight pink to it, but no spots.

Posted: Sun Nov 04, 2012 8:48 amThat would be an Eastern Painted Turtle(Chrysemys Picta Picta) Its not a type of slider, just a very normal Eastern Painted

If you talking about the care needed compared to a slider. There is no difference.
