Now then, I saw a whole lot of projects done with plexiglass sheets and myself I have a few ideas. I'm in Canada once got my hand on some amount of acrylic in a local hardware store, but it's very expensive (eg. more than usual i think).

Basically, I see on the net acrylic sheets available from online retailers for less than in store here, but the catch is they usually do not ship to Canada and/or have ridiculously expensive shipping (50$ for a sheet? really?) and/or are commercial distributors only (will not sell a single sheet; if so, very expensive).

So, I ask you, where do you get your acrylic/plexiglass/plastic sheets?!?

While there are many plastic shops and you might want to track one down locally, not all of them will sell to an individual. Many only sell business to business.

I know he was referring to colored acrylic, but they will have clear too.

I just looked around ebay.ca a little and found some good sized pieces for quite cheap. At the cheapest, 1/8" sheets that will be around 12"x24" will cost about 6-10$ with around 20$ of shipping, which is cheaper and less of a hassle that those plastic distributors sites.
