I stood up & asked her what was going on (yes, I talk to her...) She's only pooed bannanas before on her basking rock (that was 4 years ago) but she laid eggs a few weeks back in her outside pond. Someone said it might happen again real soon, but I thought she was catching a cold (& hopefully not the dreaded RI) so I kept watching her, she kept making that noise, like a sneeze or horn, her head shot back like a rocket into her shell... & then slowwwwly came out, followed by another sneeze/horn/toot that shot her head right back into her shell.... no mucus or teary eyes, no wheezing so I kept talking to her... her 5th or 6th sneeze/horn/toot noise, an egg shot right out of her!!! Right on her basking rock, she turned around & looked at it but wasn't all that interested... it had broken, she just repositioned and kept on basking... it was awesome!!
She laid eggs in the water a few weeks back but actually got to see her drop an egg today! I'm sure my dog thinks I tooted though!
