so heres another one of my crazy and probably impossible ideas...

Its been my dream for many years to live in a camper traveling the country making a living via graphic design/computer animations and airbrushing. I would be living mostly in either a campervan, or a slide-in truck camper, with a tee-pee for long stays. Now I have a turtle and im having a hard time seeing how she could fit into this dream. My question is, would it be that crazy to attempt some type of turtle habitat in the camper? obviously it would take up a lot of space, which would be very limited especially in a truck camper, so id probably have to go with a camper van or small rv. I do plan on buying a peice of land, but i wouldnt be there very often so i wouldnt want to leave her there.
It may just come down to trial and error, but there has to be a way to do this, where there's a will there's a way right?

Water + movement + turtle = not a good idea. Filtration, lamps, heaters will need to be off during this time too. It's not a crazy idea though.

Actually I was thinking about this after I read it because I love camping. I wouldn't take my turtle on a camping vacation. But for you living that way (which I think is awesome!) I would go with a large water tub not an aquarium it would be to easy to break. Keep turtle in dry dock while traveling and fill up the tub when you stop. Just get clip on lights and a clamp or light holder.

Something with an airtight lid would be pretty good.

yea i was thinking having that much water moving could be bad, especially if i had to slam on the breaks or something to avoid a crash
