Myrtle Beach has more turtles than sea shells. I took these just for you guys! They were all over the place. There was a huge one at Broadway at the Beach but I couldnt get a good pic of her. It wasnt a glamorous vacation but we had an amazing time. If you guys ever go, there is this piano bar called Eighty Eights and you have to go (if you have good taste in music...not that horrid hip hop or country ). Theres a guy named Rod that plays all night..he is AWESOME. We sat right at the bar and talked to him and he played requests. Super funny guy. Anyway. Turtles.

This one lives with the baby alligators at Alligator Adventures. I didnt even spot it..my boyfriend saw it first.

Also at Alligator Adventures. They had hundreds. I wonder if they try and take in some of the turtles people buy at the beach shop and get rid of. I am sure some get eaten.. theres a huge area with them and some very very big gators.

. This turtle was livin the life. It was in a closed off bird exhibit at Brookgreen Gardens (I HIGHLY recommend this place). He is hanging out with his bird friend back there. We also saw one stretched out and basking on the rice plantation boat tour but I didnt get his picture

EEK no! He was huge! I thought he was dead! But after we stared at him for a while, he slowly went back into the water lol. Is it bad that I am more scared of my turtles than him? haha

Small turtles are nothing to worry about...
