Great work!!That is awesome!I would love to do something like that some day (but I have plans to move cross country in the next few years so I am gonna have to wait lol)All the turtle rescues seem to be at max capacity so its great you are doing that.

There at least has been a little progress..They have finally stopped selling hatchlings at the beaches (at least in southeast America). I got both of my ladies for under a dollar . That was 10 years ago. They still had them in 2007 but I havent seen them since. Now they sell little lizards. Still, maybe the amount of neglected turtles will go down.

What you are doing is awesome. Keep up the good work!

yea this is really cool, its good to see that somebody cares enough about these awesome animals to help out like that! It must be hard work but it also sounds very rewarding. The story about the turtle backing up into your hand so you wont stop scratching is awesome! I didnt think they could really feel anything thru their shell.
