i need a new Thermometer for basking and i dont know which one i should go any suggestions?

That's a humidity gauge not a thermometer. You don't need to worry about humidity with an animal that can swim.

Any thermometer will work. The expensive digital ones work well. The cheap digital ones are very inaccurate. So, for a cheap thermometer... one of these works just fine...

If you want to spend some money... check out (google) the digital aquatics reef keeper light. It's a full blown aquarium controller and can take temperature probe(s). You can use it to run your lights, control your heater, and do temperature of water and basking area.

So I got my new themp reader and upgrade my 50 heat bulb 2 a 75. And my 75 bulb reads 84f is that 2 high? Should I got back 2 the 50 bulb?

I bought a digtal themp reader and I put the probe top of the dock were my lamp is on top of a gride under the dock. Now it read 84.6
