i dont know if its a girl lol. both my turtles are 1inch. and i know it wouldnt have eggs white its a baby

could it be that its eating the leftovers from the food cuz i feed both my turtles in there tanks

its just looking for more food. you may want to switch from rocks to sand or nothing on the bottom of the tank at all. if the turtles eat the rocks it can impact there intestines and kill them.

I wouldn't use gravel as a substrate. It traps food and waste, which could be why your turtles are digging and scavenging.

wouldnt sand harm my turtles if they eat it and wouldnt it go into my underwater filter? and it would make my water cloudy

What kind of filter do you have?

fluval 2 and Zoo Med Turtle Clean Filter 318 i got both of these in the tank.

i bought the sand and i wash it. and my water is cloudy and i put my turtles and algae snails and fish inside the tank. when does the cloudy stop? i wash the sand and put fresh water inside the tank and before and i ran my filter for 30mins before i put my animals inside.

Wait, did you completely replace the water? That will kill your fish and snails.

yes i did. i always change it when i put something new in the tank
