in both my old tank and the new tank, i have a zoomed turtle dock (http://www.petco.com/product/12389/Zoo-Med-Turtle-Docks.aspx?CoreCat=LN_ReptileSupplies_AquaticTurtle_Decor). for some reason, filbert enjoys struggling to climb up the SIDE instead of the ramp. does anyone else have a turtle who does something similar? also, when i jumps off, he goes off of the side, and slams head-first into the side of the tank (the dock is fastened on the long wall of the tank). i hope he doesn't get brain damage!

Yup, I think most of our turtles do this frustrating behavior.

Mine does it too, it's quite entertaining to watch. She doesn't hit her head but tries her damn best to get up the wrong way

Only the largest of mine struggles the hard way to get onto the dock... the two smaller ones look at it likes its crazy for working so hard

My 2 like to jump off all the time they do not hit their heads tho
