i came across siamese RES they are joined together on their bellys? would you call it and after reading the short description this really made me smile..
normally someone would feel sorry for these turtles..but i am amazed even though this has happend to them they can still live a happy life
Here are two turtles born firmly connected at the bellys. Many Siamese turtles are connected in mid shell, sharing legs and some organs. These are two separate turtles that have only one connection. Born in early July, these two are the picture of perfect health. They work very well together, often swimming in unison to move about their tank. Both eat well, both do well on top or the bottom. Both know how surface to breath at the same time. Watching them work together sometimes makes you think of watching well trained synchronized swimmers - sometimes not. They truly are a great example of team work. We keep them in shallow (2 inch) water with plants to hide in. They love pellets, romaine and chopped crickets. They are well past the difficult early stages and are impressive to see and keep.
Hopefully someone else can enjoy this ;P
