Will RES and Painted Shell Turtles or Yellow Belly Sliders fight if they are put in the same tank and are around the same size? And can they cross breed? If so what type of babys come out the eggs? is it like snakes? like if you breed a Regular Burmese Python with a Albino Burm Python, you have chances to get whats called a Birdeater Python out of the eggs...

They can fight if they have limited space. Its quite unpredictable. Its like humans. And yes they can cross breed. However they r usually called hybrids and its quite hard for them to mate especially the painted.

Good to know. If a Fish is alot bigger then the turtle do you think the turtle will try to eat it? I want to put a Algie Eater in the tank but i dont want to spend 6$ on one and it just get eaten when i can spend 6$ on like 50 Gold fish lol

Yea i wouldnt but another type of slider in the same tank, i would go with the painted, i house painted s and res together and they never bother each other.

Have yet to see or hear of painteds and sliders producing offspring. So your good there. Unlike the yellow bellied. Res/ybs hybrids are very common.
