A Red Ear Slider Male would swim towards a female and flutter or vibrate his claws on and around its face or head before mating. If the female agrees to do it with him, she will sink at the bottom and get ready. If she doesn't, chances are she will get aggressive .

RES can see most of the same colors as humans, and tend to like or dislike some colors more than others.

RES can learn to live together if they are frequently socialized at a young age and never separated from each other. I know this from personal experience with mine.
Phryne - Japanese bobtail, 11 y.o.
Hurricane - RES, approx. 19 y.o., 7.00in. long
Typhoon - RES hybrid, approx. 19 y.o., 8 in. long
Sadie - RES, approx. 30+ y.o., 11.5in. long
Sophie - Colombian red tail boa, 15 y.o., 5 ft. long

it always...unless they are still baby.. that's why you should never put more than 1 male, especially when you don't have enough space for them. thay will fight each other to take control of that place..

Slider does not like people shaking his tank or tapping on the glass. Slider hates getting stuck between the filters and the glass. He also hates falling off his rock and landing on his back
