Has anyone ever bought from them? I have been going back and forth on whether or not I'd buy from them. I really am just window shopping for now, but once I have upgraded everything I'd like a Rio Grande RES. Thanks in advance.

I have not bought from them but I have to say the Rio's patterns are very cool. I love my Rio!

They are supposed to be very good. A lil expensive, but good.

turtlesource [not reputable] is one of the worst places to buy from. Many of the animals arrive sick, or near death. They are very expensive, and very poor customer service. They often lie to gain interest, for example...they advertise their hybrid res x ouachita maps, as the only ones in the world, yet these are being wholesaled by the hundreds from a couple different places, for 25 dollars a piece. Their "first ever albino YBS" is not only a lie, but their turtle isn't a pure ybs, but a cross between an albino res, and a ybs. Some people have had a good experience with them, I won't say its all bad, but I wouldn't give them a penny of my money.

Could you recommend a place? I plan to order a turtle and adopt a turtle, so I'm looking for a place to order from.

Look on kingsnake.com, find a breeder named Paul V. He is one of, if not THE, most trustworthy seller on the net. He only sells healthy, growing animals, at very good prices. Spring is a much better time for a breeder like him, but if you send him an email, he might have what you're looking for, just not posted online.
