I just wan't to share this. My little Izzy has learned how to beg and its so cute she used to be scare to bask in front of me now she is jumping of the basking area to beg for food. Now I know not to give into it but its so cute. Its just so nice for your turtle to learn that your not scary any more then there not afraid to do what they do when your gone now i have to keep my eye on her

Begging, fun until you dont watch your hands. I get nipped all the time. Watching one turtle and not another. Really big turtles begging is really funny. They splash like crazy.

extending their necks. i love it when dumbork goes in the shallow part of his tank and elongate his neck. so cuute. here's a pic:

Mine begs too! I love watching Tweedle at feeding time go nuts, splashing up a storm trying to get me not realizing I already put her floating food in. I actually have to walk away for her to stop and eat LOL! I want to youtube it soon. My map in same tank, I hand feed her algae pellets. Her nips don't hurt and are not mean. She just loves them!
