im building a new basking area and shallow water shelf out of plexy glass. what type of glue or silicone should i use

I've used GE Premium Waterproof Silicone (clear), Kitchen/Bath/Plumbing for several decorations in my set-up. I usually wait 48 hours & then pre-soak for 24 hours before putting in my tank.

silicone does not adhere well to plexiglass or any other brand sheet acrylic.
