weve been having some unseasonably warm weather so I took kaya outside as much as possible this weekend. Normally she would look around for a minute and then head for the treeline at the edge of the yard, I used to go pick her up everytime she got close to the trees and bring her back to the middle of the yard, but the neighbors put in a new fence so I just let her go, keeping a close eye on her of course. She got close to the fence and then dug herself into the dirt and leaves, you could only see about half of her shell and her head peeking out. Then she sat there for at least an hour just soaking up the sun.
This was very cool, I want her to get as much sun as possible, but getting up and grabbing her every 2-3 minutes before she dissapears into the neigbors yard gets really old really fast. I guess the whole time she was just looking for a safe place to hang out.
