Update on my previous post found another deal:

So i've been looking around and now i found this deal.

90g (48-17-24) "perfect condition"

filter aquaclear 2000 (says filter but isnt this a power head?)

2: heaters 125watts + 150 watts

1: 4foot 2 neon light strip

+some random gravel and decorations

Theres a note for stand also available idk how much that is, Also I could jsut build a stand for cheaper perhaps?

i think thats a pretty good deal, i got my 75 gallon tank for $150

Maybe you can ask for the tank and stand and he can keep everything else? I'm not sure why someone would sell a tank and stand separately if they are trying to get rid of it. For reference, I got a used 100 gallon with metal stand for $100.

The Aquaclear 2000 is a powerhead, but there is an Aquaclear 200 filter.

Just going through all craigslist in my area and nearest major city. 75 gallon with stand go for about $100. Steve your just lucky lol. I rarely see tanks larger then 75 gallon posted and when they are they are broke and they want close to the $200 or above area. There is actually none posted larger then 90 i could find around me. I think you got a once in a blue moon deal or thats common in your area haha and your lucky to live in ny.

Idk, i look at craiglist everyday. It always seems like a steady flow of tank every month though i would say your right. I think more is posted in the spring/summer
