I bought one of those floating basking areas, which had labeled *for all size turtles* as it was the largest size.
Get home, Install it and Lola gets on it and the bloody thing sinks. Whats up with that? and here in New zealand the things aren't cheap.. set me back $90 for it ! :O

Yep, that will happen. Id return it if you can. They are great for small to medium turtles but once they get really large they sink.

Sorry to hear it. I usually tell people to consider other things besides that dock. Lola's a big girl! Are they all in the same tank?
