It was horrible. I came home to find she dug under a decoration and got caught under it. When i got her out she wa stilll alive, although completely limp with water in her lungs, and after doing many methods and getting many drops of water out of her, she didnt make it. :'(
I want to aware people: BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR DECORATIONS! Dont put anything they might get stuck in, anything they could dig to. Jasmine (my turtle) dug into thwe sand to get underneasth the decoration.

Also, my parents want to get another one. Should i take their offer? I have another turtle, deshaw, who was jasmines playmate, who seems kind of lonly, doesnt eat much now. idk can turtles get lonely??

Thanks :(

Hes very tiny, for some reason he barely grew since I bought him. Jasmine was about 2 1/2 inches through 3 1/2 inches while Deshaw stayed 1 inch. Although hes starting to lose his vibrant green shell color and getting darker so he is maturing :)

I'd say to keep the one. Keeping multiple RES usually lead to problems when they get older.

Hey sorry :( Good luck with Deshaw =) One turtle is enough - they don't get lonely. You can always add some feeder fish for entertainment.
1 RES - Tomi (75 gal)
1 Leopard Gecko - Leia (20 gal)
2 Fancy goldfish, 1 bn pleco (40 gal breeder)
