For the past 3 days my apple snail is extremely inactive he just sits at the bottom of the tank all day. He's not dead cause I smell him and he doesn't smell like anything, also his trap door is tightly shut. I took him out and put him in a bucket with water with some anacharis since I heard they love it and still nothing, he doesn't move! Whats wrong with him??

change in water conditions? My astrea and my mexcian turbos do that alot... they just stop for a few days then go again. Eventually they die and a crab comes along and eats their remains... all is good.

I have a Rabbit snail in my plant tank that recently went dormant for over a month, then, like nothing happened, got back to eating everything.

This morning I saw him moving around outside of his shell!! thanks guys

one time one of my huge mystery snails floated on the top of the tank for like 2 1/2 months...then it moved for about a week and then it died lol...
