hahaha! Well I got lucky.. I feel like I stole my tank from that guy from Craigslist. He didn't charge me nearly enough for what he gave me. I feel kinda bad because he didn't seem all that bright :/.

$375 for 150 gallon with oak stand, Fluval 305 and Rena xP4, two heaters, like 6 thermometers (?), water conditioners and testers, 2 pumps, XL gravel vac, 4 ..water circulation fan thingies.. and a whole bunch of other stuff. (including a 10 gallon tank which is now my planted tank, an additional heater for it, a small Fluval plus..)All if it was only a year old! Not even sure what half of the other stuff is lol

I did however go through a 10 gallon, 20 gallon, and 50 gallon setup first. Now I am spending money on the 10 gallon planted tank lol!

are you doing the whole CO2 thing with your planted tank?

No. I had to unplant it for a while because I wasn't using the gravel vac right.. how embarassing lol. I never used one before! I wasn't being aggressive enough with it and the poor water quality almost killed poor Liazardman. I have now corrected the problem and Lizardman has his color and spunk back. I added back half of the plants (since I am still doing 20% water changed every other day until his purple is a little more purpley). I put the other plants in a one gallon bowl (I bought for sea monkeys a while back..not the betta). I might look in to the CO2 thing now that all the commotion is over in my 10 gallon. My plants are looking pretty pathetic since Lizardman hasnt been pooping on them!
