i got 2 res turtles and 2 nosey cats. i bought a grid for my 55 gal so my cants wont go. but i got a fluval 405 filiter works amazing and the only problem is that the grid doesnt fit my ff 55 gallon tank when the hose from the fliter is attached

use egg crate and cut a square as small as possible for the pipe or cut a whole in the screen

wouldnt the cats fall in if they jump up top of it?

and what about the light then.

How is everything arranged? You might have to build an eggcrate canopy if cats are an issue.

I'm going 2 buy a glass top

What about the basking and UVB lights?

I'm use it still. But on top of the glass

It won't be as effective if it needs to go through glass.

You'll need to be creative an build around it. Or have some Plexiglas shaped to your specs.

So glass is t great
