I am travelling in a couple of days by train for a few hours and need to find some way of transporting 2 RES. Has anyone got any ideas, preferably cheap that I can get in the next couple of days?

How big are they?

You'll just need to bring some rubbermaid containers, preferably ones that are opaque and lined with newspapers and old clean towels. Did you check the regulations of the train operator regarding pets?

they are biggest 5 inches.

i know the train lets dogs (not just blind dogs) and bikes so i am guessing it will be alright. i would like a container that they cant see out of or in! i was thinking about that sort of plastic box and punch some holes in the top.

If you can get it completely dark, they'll go sleep but I would bring extra towels to wipe up poo.
