Hi All,
Has anyone traveled with their turtles on an Airplane? I am moving across the coast far East - far West 6hr flight. I cleared it with TSA and the airline. I have a clear carrier and will put bottled water in after passing security, the carrier will sit in an open top tote bag.

Any suggestions? I already know they are going to be beyond angry :( :( Ike & Tina 5yrs

Thanks
S.P

I'm just curious, which airline? Many don't allow it. I'm not sure if there are local state laws that might prohibit you bringing your turtle.

As for the flight, you don't need to add water. I'd just cover their carrier and make it as dark as possible and they'll sleep through it. Maybe leave a shirt or something for them to borrow under too. You'll probably have to clean up at least once on the trip... they'll probably pee or poo from all the handling and being in the container.
