I know that I read on here before that fish food is not good for turtles. But if you have fish in your tank, how/what do you feed them?

most people dont feed the fish. or if u want to feed the fish and u take ur turtle out to feed him or her in a seperate container, that is the best time to feed your fish.

I feed mine the normal food but just like 30% of the recommended amounts - its to help supplement their diet to keep em healthy ;)

I don't think its bad if a turtle eats some fish food, it just shouldn't be a regular part of their diet. I think the fish would probably grab some of the turtle's food if they're hungry anyway.

I feed my feeders fish food to keep them healthy and quick. But like SSMcLeod, I only feed them a little. I doubt if the turtle consumes a little flake here and there it would be harmful.
