My oldest turtle has taken to some funny habits. This turtle will eat anything you put in front of him and will eat until he explodes so his diet is monitored very carefully. So how does he snack in between meals? Well, he blows his own bubbles then eats them! Not kidding. The last few months, when no one is looking, (because if you pay attention to him he tries to swim at you to feed him) he will sit still then bring his head above water and quickly duck in and blow bubbles then eat them. He will do this for a while. The little turtle has done it once or twice, I think he's copying, but did not seem to interested in it and has stopped. But the bigger turtle, loves it.

Blowing bubbles, that's a good one!
It's amazing how if I even turn my head and glance at Miss Tee while she is basking (my computer is next to her tank) she will open her eyes and stare at me. I swear she can hear my head turn!
Amusing behavior: fluttering at a 2" neon-orange plastic lizard (this is hilarious!), running up to her basking spot and then diving off--only to run up and do it all over again, biting at the silicon seal that holds her tank together. It's so loud late at night, that when I'm working on my computer, I can her her chomping down on it!
