Turtles do Pee as a Defense. It is mainly seen in Land Species tho such as the Desert Tortoise and other large land turtles. Iv read it is water they store and since they have to go long periods of time without water its usually a death sentence to touch them unless you give them water to refill there storage. but that is land turtles, I would imagine some water turtles would do it aswell...
