Does anyone know of a site where I can purchase turtles that can ship outside of the US? Like, I'm in the Philippines, turtlesource [not reputable] doesn't seem to include my country in their shipping list.

why do you want to buy another turtle? all im saying is turtles are expensive and having two just doubles the price

Planning on buying one for my girlfriend, and I don't want to get an RES since she can just buy one herself in the local pet shops here... I already have 2 baby RES...

Importing turtles from another country is a big ordeal because CITES kicks in and both you and the exporter need to apply for permits.It can also be very expensive and not worth it for a turtle or two.

Oh, permits and stuff.. Hmph.. Birthday's still a little far away, gonna keep looking for alternatives, hopefully one that won't need permits, like maybe me having to go travel for a while and stumble across "non RES" turtles..
