i have seen many of both but i just dont see the difference >.< Whats the difference between green shelled and brown shelled RES? I see most people with brown ones so whats the difference???

Ok...I'll be serious

RES are usually greener when hatchlings, and darken up as they grow older.Just like any other species, they're all different and unique in their own way.

Ok well ive seen both green and brown shelled adults but brown are more common. Is the shell color a mutation or adaptation.

The color really serves no purpose just how they evolved i guess.
