My house gecko crawled out of his cage when I was transferring one gecko to another cage. Now he's somewhere in my room but I don't know where. I need techniques to catch him. There's crickets that have jumped out and are running arond already. I have a lot of nocks and crannies in my room. Also, my parents are deathly terrified of geckos so I can't just wait it out. What should I do?

if you are positive he didnt get out of your room id say block off the exit and just search until you find him

Any luck? If he likes to bask, then I'd setup a lamp for him and see if he's drawn to it.

Try doing what steve said and put some food around your room.
