Some of you guys know that I found a turtle a few months back and was to dumb to let him go back out into the wild and kept him as a pet, and then he died a couple days later. He died June 4th and I buried him the same day, I was wondering is his body completely rotted away? Cause I want to keep his shell.
So do you guys think I should wait a few more months? Or take him out already?

Umm where si the turtle? Cant you see it. Yea it will be well past being rotted and should only be a shell.

Yeah I dug him up a few weeks ago but his shell was cracked in half I think from the pressure it was under from being underground. Also his scutes where coming off and dull white shell was under them I don't know what that means but I kept the scutes and a piece of the shell and put him back.
