im not sure why but ever since my female RES was a hatchling shes been like sooo hyper. and in the beginning i thought it was cute. now its like i could get water on my face if i get too close during feeding time.

mostly for food, seeing me, and even basking. its kinda scary.

and my male is naturally just relaxed and hes been that way. ever since ive got him. he begs for food but not as much as my female

i cant go past my tank without them begging and if the tank stretched as far, they'd probably follow me.

are they just naturally this way or what lol and does anyone have hyper turtles too?

My turtles are very hyper, never stops begging for food. They're in my room and my computer faces the other way from my tank, when I turn around even for a second, they'll drop what they're doing and beg for food. Also, when I drop algae waffers for my plecos to eat then they savage for them, flip every rock over to find it.

The rest of the turtles have been adopted to good homes. :)
