Well a month ago when i was looking to purchase my RES there is 4 pet/reptile stores i visited and looked around for the best prices and asked around who knew their stuff and who were more professional because i think the people who were professional definatly deserved my buisness more then a bunch of kids who dont know what their talking about.

there is this one store i visited called "Indoor Jungle"..this is the store owned by kids that were just recently opened a few months ago and their aquariums wernt finish being set up..the person at the cash didnt even greet me and my mother when we entered the store..he didnt even look up..there was one person playing NHL on xbox360 in the backroom..so i thought it was definatly not an enviorment that would be in buisness for long..

and today i was looking on a similar site to craigslist its basicly local classifieds and in the pet section i noticed this add

"Due to the circumstances at hand, we will be closing the back of our store housing the fishroom, for appx. 1 month. This is to allow for work on our filtration systems, changes to the reptile room, and completing some projects within the fish room. At this time, all of the aquariums will be emptied, and cleaned thoroughly. The main system that was affected, all fish from that system have mostly died, and the ones that are alive are not for sale. There are marine fish available, all at 70% off. No corals are available at this time eitherAs for all of the available livestock, anything NOT in a contaminated system will be for sale, this Sunday at 70% off. All of our reptiles will be 50% off. We need everything out of the back, so that the systems can be flushed, and worked on."

Thank you,

Good call, there's a Aqua-mart close to my home, (It dosent sell turtles, just salt water fish and salt water plants) and I know that it WILL flourish, because upon entering, I am always greeted with a "Hello, is there anything I can help you with?" and I noticed that when the employees aren't busy helping customers, they are admiring the fish and coral.

Good eye on that store, playing football at work. Fail.

Eh I don't think that fish store should be shunned just because people were enjoying there time at work :P most likely that was a family run store and the people in there had probably worked there for years and all of us know how years and years of greeting every single person that walks through the door can get boring :P Yes, it may be good manors and "professional" but I don't think it does anything to the stores reputation/quality of fish/aquatic life.
