Hi there - I am a very new RES owner. I have a few questions and after browsing the forum's past postings, I have not been successful at finding answers... any info you can share about the following would be greatly appreciated!

1. Can RES hear? I know they can see cus every time I go near the tank, they swim away or come closer thinking I'd feed?
2. Do they like to be held?
3. How do I safely (for their sake) clean the water spots on my tank due to water splattering off of the filter?

2.i personally think every turtle is diffrent some like it more then others and im sure others hate it.

3.i use a wet wash cloth or i know of people who just use a wet paper towel
