So, there are so many brands out there for Reptile stuff. I was just wondering if people stick to a brand name, or switch it up.

What food, uvb lights, heat lights, treats, basking platform, cleaning material, and/or vitamins do you like best? And what brand name do you buy of each item?

I have Nature Zone aquatic turtle bites, Zoo med Krill treats, Zoo med Wipe Out 1 cleaner, Zoo med heating nocternal red light , Repti-Glo UVB light 2.0, and Reptomin Sulfa Block.

When I read the topic in the forum I thought the poll would be the same, that being "which do you use". Personally I have ZooMed food, and I think a ZooMed floating dock, but I'm not sure I actually think they're the "best", just the best that is easily available to me.

Overall I think the "best brand" depends on what specifically you're talking about. For instance, most of the things I've seen say MegaRay bulbs are one of the best reptile lights on the market. But do they make anything other than lightbulbs? Nope.

So you can't just buy all of one brand and ignore everything else, you have to review each product by it's own merits, not who makes them.

Depends on what product I'm using.

ReptoMin, HBH, and Mazuri for food.
Fluker's for freeze dried crickets.
ExoTerra for ReptiGlo and corresponding hood.
GE for light bulbs.
TopFin for my water heater.
Zoo Med ReptiSafe for water dechlorinator.
All Glass for my tank.
Rena for my filter.

Most of the stuff I have isn't a reptile brand, but for food I use HBH, and used to use Reptomin.
I've got some dried shrimp that is Petcetera brand.
My heaters are both Fluval brands (one is Aquaclear, one is Elite), because that is all that was available at the time I bought them.
My filters are Fluval FX5s, which I love.
The UVB lights are Exo-Terra Reptiglo, because they're what is available locally, and they're less expensive. The incandescent bulbs I use are No Name brand.
I've got an odd assortment of light fixtures - One home built fixture, one halogen reading lamp, one CFL free standing lamp that we found in the Walmart parking lot (!) and one clip lamp that I actually purchased ;)

A product doesn't need to be a reptile brand to be useful to RES :D

Over all, the brand I use the most is probably Fluval, since that was all you could find in town for a long time.
