My friend is always telling me how he spends his lunch over at the pond at CSUN, so today I finally went by to take a look.

You can buy food fore 25 cents.

I saw RES, a painted and some kind of cooter (shown in some of the pics)

Haha I love the turtle basking on the duck statue! Those guys look happy! It is sad about the last turtle but at least it was under natural conditions. I bet he had a great life in that pond

It just seems like the water is really dirty...
I wonder if they have a maintenance worker who cleans up the place...

It's a pond. They're never crystal clear like tanks.

iv seen on youtube videos where people feed the ducks and there are baby ducks around and a big koi comes up to get some bread up on accident gets a baby duck and eats it whole in one bite. koi get HUGE.
