We came back from our month-long vacation in Colombia and found that Mikey and Flea had grown a lot. Mikey used to be the size of a nickel and now he's the size of a half-dollar coin. Flea grew about two centimeters.

Also, we came back to find a new hamster in our hamster cage...it turns out Dusty had died the day before we came back home. The guy that had been taking care of the animals while we where gone felt guilty and got us a new one. I'll post pics of the new hammy (teddy) when i can. RIP Dusty

they look so cute together. hopefully they dont crossbreed when they get older

The d-back looks so awesome...I mean so does the RES, but you don't see many diamondbacks.

its going great they seem to act like they dont know each other exists lol

but of course if theres any sign of aggression ill seperate them.

and lol mine take care of each other like a family. my smaller one is "teaching" my bigger one to beg for food. before, he use to just come and take what was floating. now he notices i feed my smaller one more if it begs. so now the bigger one is like "ooo so thats how you get more?" and now its splashing water in my face and stuff. lol they surprise me sometimes

if hes swimming, at first sight of me he'll swim up and beg. if he's on the dock, he'll jump off and beg. its so cute.
