Thanks, There's parlour palms (Neanthe Bella Palm), umbrella pants, peace lilies, a potho, and some grass. Many of the plants are kinda cut out of the pictures. All the plants are safe. Except the flower of the peace lilies which I'll just cut off.

Bear is looking great and so is his enclosure. How old is he now? Izzy is 15 months old now and I still don't understand why her shell is so light. Bear is a Three Toed..right? Your enclosure is fine...what kind of lights do you have in there? Is there a heat emitter? Always interested in other peoples enclosures.

whoaaaa that habitat is incredible. I'm planning to make a natural vivarium for my crestie when it reaches adult size in around 1.5-2 years, but I still don't know much about live plants kept with animals. did you use live plants from your tortoise's indigenous area? are they easy or difficult to care for in addition to Bear? I know they're different habitats but I'm curious about anyone else with live plants in their vivarium and yours is beautiful

This is a great site for eatable plants. It is good for Redfoots too. I keep lots of plants in my enclosure for both boxie and Tortoise. The boxie never eats any of the plants...only digs under them. Some I keep in little pots and bury them in the substrate, so he can't do too much damage to them. My Tortoise will nibble on only certain ones. Others he will finish the whole plant. He LOVES pansies and will eat the whole plant.

I'm not sure how old he is but I had him for 4 months the owner I got him from had him for almost a year. Plus the time before she had him, if this is right he's pretty small for his age. Yes bear is a three toed. I have a normal heat light, a 5.0 18'' UVB, and a heat emitter that is on a thermostat. Izzy's shell is very unique and her coloring is great. I'm not sure either but it's defiantly different.

Thank you, I didnt look up if the plants are from his natural area. Basically, I looked up the plant names of some of my mom’s houseplants then researched if they were safe to use. Some are clippings from her plants, others I bought that I already looked up. The plants are easy to care for they grow really great in there and keep in humidity.
