We took on this snake as the previous owner didn't want it and wasn't taking care of it. I think it is a California Kingsnake but am not 100% sure. Is there anyone out there that can tell me what it is and what I need to take care of this little guy. Thanks.

Feeding a snake crickets.... Aww com'on man thats just wrong. This is why i suggest doing research before buying or getting any animal.

Thanks for all your help. We have a spare 35 gal tank our turt use to be in. She's in a 55 gal tank now so we are going to put this little fella in the 35. Got everything for it except the heat source going to get that tomorrow. We gave her/him a couple of pinkies the other day, she was starving. Can't believe how fast they can strike, it was pretty cool. She seems very friendly I take her out to handle her a few minutes everyday. Keep you posted.
