So, I got a new all in one printer the other day, which includes a scanner, and I thought that the best way to test it would be by scanning Speedy's plastron!

He seemed to enjoy it, as he just stood calm!

Man, I'm so in love with the little guy! <3

He didn't really pay attention, as he's looking up at what was the open lid of the scanner! I would never harm the cutie pie! (:

Um... I would expect the bright light from the scanner to upset your turtle's eyes. Please don't do that again.

Don't worry, I won't do that again, since I know their eyes must be sensitive. Just did it out of curiousity, you know? ;)

So scanning an animal is not harmful, hell my scanner runs off of USB power, it's hardly anything. We keep these beasts for 12 hours a day under lamps that are just as powerful.
