It's pretty much a terrarium (meant for non aquatic reptile's) oh well, still a great tank for a large lizard or snake, right?

Actually..I think your not supposed to use glass tank's for tortoises.. I'm not sure though..

Well i have seen russian tortoises on glasss tanks at petstores..so i just assumed.
My bad, hehe.

Your supposed to use rubbermaid container's, or stock tank's.

Yeah I guess. But I dont know much about tortoise's, I just know what I read..

I have seen many people keeping them in glass tanks I don't think that it would cause anymore stress then keeping an RES in a glass tank
