Hi guys, I want to buy a Rena XP3 canister filter. Do you where I can get it for cheaper? I live in Toronto. I know Mops.ca sells it for 172 and bigalsonline.ca sells it for 188. Any better deals than that?

Yes, you can still use it for freshwater, but it must be cleaned very well. It's pretty much the same as how you can use a previously salwater tank for freshwater. A good cleaning is all thats needed.

Not sure if you picked one up yet but Lucky Aquariums in Markham by Pacific Mall sells them for 133 tax included as their weekly special on their website (it's been there for that price for like 6 months now). You just have to make sure they know you saw it there or else it's regular price of 178 tax included.
